Once an Aggie Mom, Always an Aggie Mom!
At the Chicago Area Aggie Moms Club, we know that being an Aggie Mom doesn’t end when your student walks across the stage at graduation!
When your Aggie graduates, you become a Ring of Honor Mom—and your Aggie Mom journey continues. Our Ring of Honor Moms are an important part of our club family, bringing years of experience, wonderful memories, lasting friendships, and a wealth of Aggie knowledge to our community.
While we spend a lot of time welcoming new moms and helping them navigate their Aggies’ college journeys, we also want to celebrate the moms who have already traveled that road. Through our Ring of Honor Mom Spotlights, we get to know these amazing women, hear about their Aggies and their journeys, share favorite memories and traditions, and perhaps pick up a little advice along the way.
Their stories remind us that Aggie Moms is more than the years our students spend at Texas A&M. It’s the friendships, traditions, and connections that continue long after graduation.

Janet Knecht
A founding member of the Chicago Area Aggie Moms Club, Janet helped turn an idea during the uncertainty of COVID into a community that connects Aggie families and supports students through scholarships. Her story is a wonderful reminder that the Aggie Mom bond reaches far beyond graduation—and far beyond state lines.
